Gotcha. Kind of sucks since the company I got the scanner from told me that it supports enc. I have the uniden bearcat BCD325P2

It is a federal offense no Scanner can support encryption that is the whole reason departments go that way Our damn taxes and we cant listen to public safety

You should post some kind of proof of this. Accusing a company of saying this is wrong. If they did say it, and you can post proof to support that, then it should be public so people can start avoiding this company for lying scheme.

I can assure you that Scanner Master has NEVER told anyone that a scanner can decode encryption. It is possible that the question was whether the radio supports P25 Phase 2 (which it does) and would work on the Stamford system (which it does for the non-encrypted portions) but we have NEVER told anyone that any of our products decode encryption.
