Standoff in furgus ont

MY question is i am monitoring the standoff on my 996t opp tactical which is digital.the channal is 1tac02 it comes in for a secound then i cant hear anything but i am still recieving the channal am i missing something here maybe one of my settings isn't right.

Is it going encrypted? Check for ENC on the display. The 396/996 block encryption.

No, it shouldn't be encrypted. He's got some other problem.

This would be better off in the Eastern Canada forum. Lots of members in the KW area would have seen it there.

No dave is right i did see that on my screen thanks alot i now know what that means..

No, Dave isn't right. Those talkgroups are not encrypted.

You've got some other problem like your digital audio settings.

I agree with Mike. I've never seen encrypted activity on a TAC talkgroup.

What is your digital threshold set at ?
Do you have PRIORITY on ?
Do you have CLOSE CALL activated ?

digital threshold 7 or 8 should i try this setting lower
PRIORITY not on
CLOSE CALL not activated
i did see enc on that channel
