I have been monitoring both the DuPage and CHGO south 700 systems here in Buffalo Grove and noted dist 15 to be dispatching ISP ( Illinois State Police), units and today a id of 9018, right along with Plainfields 1001 dispatches. Does anybody know if the ISP Dist 2,3,4, and 15 will be a 700 sysytem and if this is the case will we see a 700 tower in the near future for better reception. Now, at times I am getting from zero to two bars on the signal strength from both towers and complete cc chan loss . I can't blame uniden for the audio issue knowing the location of these present towers but I could vouch the dispatchers come in very good as opposed to the mobile units in which the audio sucks. Also when our great former Govt ryan signed the bill i read that the starcom sites were to be 700 and not 800.
