For those interested, I just discovered that there is a OpenMHz page for SC21 Site 101 (DuPage County) at OpenMHz .
Would you happen to know who runs it? I'd be nice to see a all Fire/EMS Only Group (something like ACDC F1/2, DuCom F West/North/East/South, Naperville FD Patch, etc....) added to the groups.

These Open MHz feeds are a great resources for the hobbyist since EVERY transmission is recorded, and website tools allow you to create filters to listen to just what you're interested in. In addition to that, each transmission is recording and archived.

I run Unitrunker on STARCOM21 Site 101. I only use one SDR dongle in order to make a log so I can document new RIDs and discover new talkgroups to record in my BCD536HP. Yesterday, I noted a couple of transmissions in my Unitrunker log that I would like to been able to hear, but that particular talkgroup was not in my record list yet. After discovering this new (to me) Open MHz Site 101 page, I was able to use the archive feature to listen to those transmissions and download them to my computer. Again, a very useful resource.

I don't know who is generously providing this feed, but I'm hoping to find out and thank them. There were already Open MHz feeds for STARCOM21 Sites 102, 113, 146 and 249. The issue that I've noticed is that, generally, the folks providing those particular feeds haven't been terribly proactive in adding descriptions for new talkgroups that have popped up and been identified since they started their feeds. While the individual transmissions show up in the feed with the talkgroup number and are archived, there is no description for that talkgroup and no way to add it to a filter. I'm hoping that the provider of the Site 101 feed is able to find the time to update their talkgroup information data, making their feed that much more useful.

BTW, there are also Open MHz feeds for Chicago PD, Chicago FD and the Will County P25 trunked system.

Im very thankful for the feeder, I run a Facebook/twitter page and Im covering DuPage Co until we can find someone to cover the area. Since I cant reach DuPage Co from my location, I rely on feeds to cover the area. OpenMHz has made it easier to go back and listen to the archives of original dispatch of something since 99% of the time I miss the original dispatch of an incident.

Is anyone else hearing the IDOT D1 ETPs on UHF? I haven't had a hit on it in a while, only on the SC21 talkgroup, wondering if they've finally fully switched over.

Quick update on McHenry County Fire West (TG 34660) Agencies have all received their radios and are anticipated to go live either this week or next. Testing with radios has been heard, finally getting more than just tones over the air. Once this is complete, all police and fire in McHenry County will be utilizing Starcom. Some Fire North agencies are still just utilizing a patch, so there is mixed Digital and Analog traffic coming over 1143, but it is all there.

Heard Kane County IL QUADCOM Fire yesterday (Tuesday 5/11/21) around 4:40pm doing tests on (11113) Talkgroup. Loud and in the clear. First was a tone similar to Tri-Com FIRE North and South, then (Test - Test - Test) sounded loud and clear. ON site 149 *

FD-related traffic a short time ago on TG 11114, possibly IDd as "2"? I've added it to the RR SC21 database, possible to add it to your Broadcastify feed, Bri?

V-Com Livingston County Update.
6406 TG is being used as a tone-out/page only for Dwight EMS, and is only heard on site 154 and had been in phase 2.
460.6000, multicast to 5780 is used by Livingston Fire Districts for fire ops, Duffy EMS and Dwight EMS use Starcom as primary, fire districts use UHF as primary.
Livingston P1 and P2 has stopped being multicast on 460.100 and 460.225 and is only on Starcom and can be heard regularly on sites 154, 207, 251, and 113 occasionally.

Heard a Kane County SO officer ask KaneComm on VHF if they heard him go 10-8 on his new in car radio, KaneComm said no, and a commander asked if it was on KCFL (not sure what the FL is for, may have misheard as well) Main. Key up just before and after on 3326 from RID 230815. I would guess the switch is fairly imminent if in car radios are installed. Enjoy hearing Kane County while you still can.
