They are bleeding all over tg 9002 freq 851.5875 on my SDS100 in database mode lol. But when I scan the system the way I programmed it I don't hear it.

That frequency is part of the Chicago P25 site-1 system. It's not bleeding over, it's voice traffic on a voice frequency on the system. Check the link I provided. It's the OEMC Linemen ..they run cable

Yeah I know now but was puzzled. I do hear the same traffic on the OEMC system. It comes up as the Rochelle site on Starcom. Very weird.lol
851.5875 WQLF813 - SC21 Site 112: Freeport.

Site 136 at Creston (Ogle County) is a 700 MHz site that was formerly labeled as "Rochelle", but the name was updated a few years ago.

Ah.....ok This is my first time using the database to scan so I never updated it since I bought the radio. Kevino to the rescue!!! That explains everything!!! Thanks Kev.

You can't edit the database setting on the radio I tried. That why I wasn't hearing it in my programming. First time using database to scan.

Under the Settings is where you'd find that option. It's a Global setting, so if you manually program and program a NAC on the site, it will use that. If no NAC is assigned, it will revert to NAC search. Since the NAC is in the database, I'd assume the scanner will use the NAC, since this is the situation it was created for.

Yeah I use NAC in my own manual programming. Problem is I have a very old database in my radio. Will update it later.

I had a similar problem when I was scanning through Cook Co Sheriff's site 5-002 ('Cook - South Simulcast') since they use frequencies that are close to what the OEMC system uses. I programmed in the proper site NAC, switched my SDS100's setting to 'Use' the site NAC, and the problem went away.

District-Chicago has been dispatching District-5 units (again) since yesterday. They're using the same RID configuration as in the past:

1904391: Dist.Chi (D2A)
1904392: Dist.Chi (D5A)
1904393: Dist.Chi (DC-A)
1904394: Dist.Chi (DC-B North)
1904395: Dist.Chi (DC-C Middle)
1904396: Dist.Chi (DC-D South)
1904397-1904399: Dist.Chi (DC Tac & Detail A, D2B, D5B channel operators)

Operators can temporarily be on multiple talkgroups for breaks and lunches so it's possible to see RID's on more than one talkgroup at times.

***I've also been hearing and have seen District-5 units on Interstate 80 from 94/394 to the State Line***

Thanks for that update. Any idea if they're multicasting on the old Quad 3 analog NBFM frequency, or did they completely move off of that?
I haven't heard anything on Quad 3 from them for a while, but don't take that as gospel, I may have just missed it. I haven't noticed any pages from them on the NWCDS backup VHF frequency either.

I hadn't heard NWCD Fire 3 on TG 2753 since June 1st (when Barrington joined NWCD on 2751) until this morning. 2753 is active again... NWCD must have moved everyone off of 2753 for the week for reprogramming I'm guessing.

I have not heard NWCD three FD TGs on T102 lately ,....

Interesting, I've been hearing it fine. Was it on a P2 capable radio? All the NWCDS FD groups have been flipping back and forth for a couple months now.

Barrington has talkgroups 3125-3130 under the NWCDS range, possibly more. 3125 is clear, everything else not.

Yep, a BTT P25RX-II. It just dawned on me what's happening... I'm monitoring the Lake County site (115), and that TG is apparently only occasionally affiliating with that site. I'll have to add site 149 to the roaming list.
