I'm seeing activity on TG 10000 between ISP Sterling and several various ISP Units (Troop 2, Troop 15, and "O" units). Earlier I heard Sterling tell some Troop 2 cars to switch to the "Special Events channel for the detail". In the past they've mentioned the "zone" and "A" or "B" when referring to the Special Events talkgroups.

Maybe 10000 is just "Special Events"?

Thanks!

Apologies - I didn't see that it was being patched to Special Events 1A (9088). Still, quite interesting :)

Each of the three ISP Zones appears to have a block of similar TGs. In the North Zone, these run from 10000 to (if memory serves correct) about 10020. I never have heard how these TGs are identified or used. Anyone know for sure?

Any idea of what TGID SAC-LAW 1 would be? They are on a patch right now along with DuPage Countywide PD-1 and Cook County Interop-3 (Encrypted) with a ongoing situation in Hinsdale.

Are you actually referring to Secure Law 7 [IL-SECLAW7]? I don't see a 'SAC-LAW 1', and I've receiving (not hearing since it's ENC) activity on it.

I couldn't make out if it's SAC LAW or SEC LAW. I'm assuming it's SEC LAW from what I heard.

Following up to my reply above -

- ISP North Zone TGs 10000-10018. 10004 is shown in the database as the former District 5 Dispatch C.

- ISP Central Zone TGs 14000-14014.

- ISP South Zone TGs 17102-17113, 17203-17205? Some of the South Zone TGs are shown in the database as "Events" TGs.

Range limits are not exact, just what has been previously observed/reported. Any additional information about these TGs would be appreciated!

State of IL has been granted STA license
WRYU954

It covers the same freqs as one of the existing licenses associated with Starcom site 228 (Decatur - North)
WQBY332

Looks like a temporary bump 🤷🏻‍♂️ to join the other site 228 licenses (WNKZ536 & WQIU451) on the tower @ 2600 N Jasper St. (red circle)
[WQBY332 listed on tower @ 2460 N Jasper St. (blue circle)]

Receiving Phase II as well on site 101. As side from that, I noticed some DU-COMM and ACDC TG's that are currently on Phase I went Phase II for a bit and then switched back over to Phase I. I noticed it on DC 1-EAST for example. Is it possible to say that they most likely have Dynamic Dual Mode enabled in some of these TG's? Unable to determine if there is any other TGID's that has this. I'm not sure if I'm the only one that caught my eye into this.

All sites should be able to do both! what makes it phase II or I is the radio itself and what it can do!

All Safe-T sites in Indiana are phase II, the radios departments use are not and that is why most of Safe-T is phase I right now.... IPSC stopped issuing radio id's for non phase II equipment last year.....So as you can see what will happen next with Safe-T also! So traffic with start happen as a mix of phase I and phase II until one day ALL are phase II

Have seen a couple of new talkgroup affiliations on T134 (Ottawa) the past couple of days. Normally I wouldn't bug y'all but the talkgroup IDs are fairly high with nothing else around them :)

TG 34790 - Affiliated by Utica FD (88012)
TG 37164 - Affiliated by ISP Unit 2-64 (1007249)

Thank you :)

Thanks for sharing, Mikey! From the Radio Reference SC21 wiki page:

* 37164 - new ILEAS TG w/full-time encryption (10/22)

TG 34790 wasn't found, so I added it to the wiki.

For those not familiar with the SC21 wiki, it can be found at STARCOM21 Statewide Illinois - The RadioReference Wiki . Among other things, it contains a list of documented RIDs and mystery talkgroups.
