So I got some bad and interesting news. I was just scanning the DuPage Sheriff dispatch and, out of nowhere, I heard the worst thing ever: encryption. It seems to have went encrypted but not fully. Could be a few possibilities, but posting the talk group is now encrypted isn't correct. Make sure you're running the latest firmware. Previous versions had some issue with voice frequency NAC's not displaying on Phase 2 talk groups and might have had some bleed over from an encrypted talk group that happened to be using the same frequency and the opposite Slot. 1.23.20/1.03.15 is the latest.
Still isn't encrypted yet as said here many times. Wherever you were listening on isn't accurately correct. I monitor all DuPage TG's with no issues.
The Grundy sheriff stated in an interview for there police encryption that “Wescom will be going encrypted about the same time as us”
I'm hearing fire dispatch pages only going across the Cook County South Site (5-002) from E-Com Departments on TGID 25324. I haven't heard any of the SouthCom Departments page outs yet. RID is 5775892.

I saw that pop up yesterday and locked it out on delete because I just assumed it was encrypted

Well....today appears to be a bad day at IDOT. A couple of the TGs have seen the IDOT workers get into conflict with each other. On one IDOT TG this morning, someone had to talk another guy down over the radio. Sounded to me as if the poor guy was getting ready to walk-off the job, or maybe he was in the midst of a mental health concern. The guys on TG 33849 (Rodenburg Yard) were trading comments back and forth with each other. These guys at Rodenburg Yard are something else!
The ITTF held their directed net this morning for DuPage County on the Illinois Statewide Interoperability Template. It was interesting hearing this for the first time.

What time as I hope it’s on broadcastify
I've not heard anything like that this year yet but last year a similar thing happened. I tend to have one monitor listening to the IDOT 8 TGs and then the other on public service when we get snow down here, honestly it's neat to listen to those DOT guys in the plows.
