Trying to figure out how to here just DIV 4 & DIV 6 VSP on a kenwood TK-5710 & TK-5210 any help would be great.

Unfortunately, there are two slight complications...
1) you cannot program a two way to simply decode and listen to any trunking system. It must affiliate with the system. That requires programming on your side and acceptance on the system admin side.
2) as of now, kenwood has not successfully (as far as I know) gotten one of the P25 radios on STARS. while it is an APCO-P25 system at heart, it seems to be more of the ASTRO-25 flavor.

You could scan the system in conventional mode with a low scan hang time, but you would hear all users, not just VSP. Just make sure to program in the correct NAC to filter out any other agencies that may be on adjacent frequencies.
