Start Up Screen for 246t/396d

I have been looking in the old threads how to change the start up screen on these scanners to put your name and or phone no. instead of the generic uniden screen. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks Guys!!

The Uniden software will allow you do to this, even the basic free no-frills version.

Using the free Uniden software you can get from their site, click on the DataBase tab, then highlight Presetsystems, and then click the Edit box. It will be under the Misc. tab. Then send it to the scanner.

Thanks for the help! With Butel Software you go to - View - Config.Editor - to change the Opening Screen, if anyone else is looking for this.
