Hi Everyone,
My name is Marc and I am new to this site. I am a very dedicated and avid radio enthusiast and i am therefor trying to start somewhat of a club in the Orlando area. i scan for fun (just like everyone else on this site i believe). I am by no means an expert, in fact i am an amateur and i absolutely love this hobby. i have obtained lots of equipment over the last few months and now i want to expand and share my love for this hobby with other people like me. i would like to offer meeting with anyone who is interested in building up a scanning club in the orlando area. I would be more than willing to host meetings at my place and i hope that there is interest in this idea. i have been looking for people in local stores who would want to join such a group (one which learns how to get the most out of their equipment) but have been unsuccessful. maybe this thread will bear some fruit. I have tons of questions about this hobby which i have not been able to figure out (even after countless hours of manual reading/googling) and i hope that there are a few other people in the area who are looking for the same answers. please email me anytime at marchirschmann@gmail.com or post on this thread if you might be interested in helping me start/join such a group. thank you for reading this and i hope to hear from some of you soon. if this idea fails i will just post my questions on the forum and hope that someone has an answer.
