Had some time today and caught the following talk groups on the 700 fairfield county system.
80176--80192--80208--80224-80240--80304
All key ups and some blowing in the radio.

Then searching the 700 mhz range 769-806
I was getting all kinds of stuff on 791.8625 P25, troop F troopers talking, Troop A troopers talking, troop g dispatch and troopers, marshals talking, talk of bridge inspections on 684, person on highway 95 exit 14 and on and on. It was like a scanner of the CSP on search...Loud and clear in prospect on the hill

The legit CSERN activity will be 769-775MHz. Towers are going online in different parts of the state now. I have logged several in the Greater Hartford area.
P25 systems are different from the older Motorola systems in that they don't need 16 bit TGID separation, so instead of 4095 TGIDs there can be 65535. To get the correct TGIDs on the new system, take the ones you are getting and divide by 16.

What sites/control channels did you log? I hooked my 396XT up to Unitrunker and was able to find an alternate CC for site 30 (772.23125). I was also able to find a new site not listed in the DB, but was listed as one of site 30's peers. That site is site 27 (Have not converted CC using band plan, CC was 01-1968). I haven't submitted the info.

Eagleye,
Are you seeing them on the new system or those 79x.xxxx freqs? Those are images from the existing CSP system. You would need to search 769-775 and, if you have a scanner that will display NACs, look for $3A8 for a NAC.
On the Talcott site, there has been one or two hits from CTS on 2011 but everything else has been CT Transit traffic.
There are 5 active sites and 1 inactive site that I have logged using Pro96Com.
21 - original network in SW CT
22 - shows up as neighbors but indicates as inactive
27 - 774.30625 - I suspect this may be Jon Tom in Glastonbury
28 - Talcott Mtn, Avon
29 - Wolcott (maybe West Peak but strength I84/I691 area indicates likely Wolcott)
30 - 773.33125 - no guess as to location yet

I got a question or two. WTH are you all talking about? That was rhetorical ! Next question is will I be able to just use the software and the site to load things up whenever everything gets settled? Oh I can contribute an observation from today. I am deep into Newington, on the Berlin TP. and again I hear Prospect Fire. I have four bars with my Pro 106 and 800 mgz ducky. So I plug in my window mount ant. that is un-used and get three bars.

These are all images from the regular CSP system

791.862500 P25 NAC 165
792.012500 P25 NAC 165

Curious if you have figured out which CT Transit Division those TGIDs belong to. I am getting CT Transit in a different range on the 700MHz system in Greater Hartford (5xxx).

So we are able to monitor these now or are they simulcast? also I thought the 700 system was goinf to be phase 2 or tdma and not monitorable I had the freqs that were originally licensed in my radio but took them out

The 700 system is for now FDMA. So you can listen.
The only public safety TDMA in the state for now is going to be New Britain but the state system can do it at some point in the future.

For the system I caught TG 5012 yesterday in stamford and they were saying testing the BUS 2 channel and they said your loud and cear on bus channel 2.

from monitoring the 64xxx TGs on the CSP system, may be something like:
Talkgroups:
50x0 - ATG
50x1 - Bus 1
50x2 - Bus 2
50x3 thru 50x8 - unknown
50x9 - Supervisors/Emergency

Districts:
501x - from APX post, Stamford or perhaps New Haven?
503x - New Britain
506x - SEAT (Southeast CT)

They are using the statewide license so there is no additional licensing unless they need additional channels.

If I recall, New Britain had specified Phase 1 and the capability to go to phase 2 in the RFP, didn't realize they are going to start out on 2.

I was hearing some chatter on 5032 off of the Talcott site while on the way to see Lincoln.

You need to put the CSERN system in manually as it will not download when a HP database update is done.
The easiest thing would be to create a favorite list for it and upload it that way. Be sure to add a TGID or it will not work. Also put it into ID search rather than ID scan.
