State 800 Expansion on Hold Once Again?

I heard on the radio while down in Lawton a few weeks ago that the State ran out of federal funding for the expansion of the 800 system. They basically said that the govenor did not know when the 800 system would expand now due to money problems once again. I guess that is why Tulsa hasn't gone completely digital yet? Anyone heard about this?

peej, tulsa has their own money,their just on the states system.i was recently getting a radio upgrade and was told its coming slowly but surely,more slowly right now but not because of financial reasons.

Don't know if you guys monitor the I-calls on the Tulsa system, But the main digital I-call traffic I hear are generally the same two TECHS of some sort and not sure if they are radio or MDT techs, but if they are the radio techs I can see why it's going to be awhile.
