State Fire Flight Following

Way back in 2005 there was a thread on a Yahoo group about the newly discovered (back then) use for 154.935 as a statewide flight following freq. It appears to be pretty active this season with more than "flight following" traffic (as you hear on the Fed freqs), including daily fire WX forecasts and air resources dispatch traffic.

Does anyone know what the State calls this channel officially and what its official use is?

Lots of talk in this report, but pages 123-125 have some maps for ADOT and MVD that show the layout of their radio systems statewide. The maps are hard to print, with the actual radio sites being quite light.

B3 messes up the pattern. Otherwise it would be a easy fill-in-the-blanks. Also, A15, A16, B15, and B16 would be odd balls and maybe that is where the (154.935/155.190 MHz) would fit in.
