I Have Started Hearing Control Channel Traffic On 860.7125, This Just Started Today. Does Anybody Know It The Pryor Site Is Built Yet. The Database Shows The Same Frequencies In Carney But I Live In Rogers County And Do Not Think That I Could Be Picking Up Those On My Pro-97. Was Going On For Several Hours This Afternoon. No Talkgroups Are Showing Up Yet. Maybe Soon?

You may have just got the first indication of the site going up. Cool! Maybe they'll come to Stillwater next?!?

Are you still hearing anything from the Pryor site? I read this and fired my BC796D back up, but haven't heard anything. Is there voice communications or just a carrier on the control channel? Mine doesn't seem to be even stopping for the control channel.

I'm excited about them getting it going, as I can't pick the Tulsa system up very well. I realize thouigh, that it probably won't carry much if any of the Tulsa traffic on it.

I Will Be In Stillwater At The 1st Of March, Can You Pick Up Any Of The System There Now?
The closest currently operating site to Stillwater is the site in Carney. Reception varies with the weather, radio, antenna, location, etc.

I Am Starting To Think That It Was The Carny Site, I Drove Out To Where I Think The Tower Should Be And It Was Not There. There Were Several Tower In The Area That I Did Not Have Time To Check Out Or Was Not Able To Get Close To. When I Have A Chance I Will Go Back Out There.

That's a long way from Carney to Claremore, I doubt you'd be able to hear it in Claremore. Pull up the license on the FCC website and it will give the lat/lon of the tower. Check that location out, you'll probably find it corresponds to an already existing tower. The state is saving money whenever possibly be leasing tower space rather than building their own.

I checked that once before, and I think they will be utilizing the GRDA tower on the Osage Hill range. It's a loaded tower with VHF/UHF HAM, UHF GRDA, and tons of microwave repeaters on it. Second best coverage in this area. I have no idea if they have done any work on adding the Tulsa 800 system to it or not.

Maybe someone in the know will chime in.

That Is The Tower That Was At The Site I Drove To. I Will Look Closer At What Types Of Equipment Are Installed. I Would Also Like To Know What One Of The Current Site Looks Like For Comparision.
