I heard every EMS agency in SC has a Pal800 radio, even the transport agencies, and I looked at my local ems' radio and it displayed "emsreg3" on the display. I live in Williamsburg Co, and have not heard any traffic on this channel, but have had about 8 radios affiliate with this channel on Unitrunker and all the radios are in the 252xx to 254xx range.
The tg id is 19088, and have seen some radios in the same range affiliate with a tg id of 18960.
Has anybody else seen these talkgroups or heard any traffic on them?

I have 18960 and 18992 listed in my logs as having had radios affiliate with sites in the upstate. No voice traffic noted that I can remember.

Those talkgroups are interleaved with Lexington Co's analog talkgroups.

You had mentioned before about starting a list of unknown or unidentified talkgroups with notes about where they have been active and maybe bits and pieces of traffic heard on them. I think that's a great idea. I'm not sure the best way to implement it. Maybe a sticky thread that folks could submit to.

I'll give that some more thought.

Hi guys, that would be great. I've gotten hits on all the TG's you both mention here in the low country. I agree, not sure how to go about starting up a who's who list, but it can't hurt in IDing what we've gotten.
Not being sure what the ID's you both found where, I had labled them as unknwon DHEC. I've gotten affiliations on the floowing ID's.. mind now, I can't confirm these.. Only seen affiliation logs.

18960 DHEC?
19120 DHEC?
30960 SC EMD/DHEC ESF?
45040 DHEC? (cross patched to 52336)
45072 DHEC?
45424 DHEC Santee HosNet?
53264 DHEC LowCountry?
53280 DHEC?

keep up the good work, and lets figure out a "who's who" list!

You may find that every county EOC has Pal800 but not all county EMS. As with Greenville they have no plans to use Pal800. The chopper contractors have Pal800. Now this is not to say they would never have any Pal800 radios for interconnect to other agencies, but for pri dispatch most EMS will stay where they are.
