I never understood the need for lights at the post anyway. But some places did it but eh to each is own I guess....

They need more troopers and less XMAS lights.

Maybe for a little morale booster, and holiday cheer for officers who definitely need it? Like I said, we're talking about such an insignificant cost here to begin with.

Or actually as some comfort to those that are stuck there working the hoilidays. The 2 times I got banged with Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, not only did we have lights, but a tree, an out of uniform day and a small buffett where everyone made something & brought it in. It appears that the higher ups there never worked a holiday away from their families.

EXACTLY !!! Only those of us that have gotten stuck working all the holidays can appreciate what a huge difference a little holiday cheer can make. Impossible to slightly intolerable...LOL.

I agree with the part about WE NEED MORE TROOPERS,. but I would like to suggest that instead of cutting back on Christman lights, that our Governor cut down on her out of town trips and stay in Lansing and man the store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
