I saw on TV the other night that some agencies instead of going TRUNK they are thinking of a new type of radio/phone system . If a police officer pulls a car over in a dead spot & his radio won't work he can switch to a Cell-Phone to get his call through . Which i think is best . Because even if some agencies go trunk they still will have dead spots from what i heard. NSP now uses MDT's in their Carrier Enforcement vehicles and talking to a state trooper he said it works better than a radio system.
