I have a couple of questions/concerns about this entry and am hoping that some folks may be able to help:

*Why are some of the entries for the sites showing "Statewide" for the county location? This does not help locate the site at all. If this can be corrected, that would be great.

*Why is Broomfield shown as an "intellirepeater"? Intellirepeaters are part of an intellirepeater site (aka an ASTRO-25 repeater site) and are either voice on control (VOC) or have multiple repeaters with a control channel. This site does not show to have a control channel and the license shows that it is "GF", so it is conventional. Is this really part of the network? If it is a conventional repeater, how did someone get the site number?

*Are the 400 series sites actually confirmed, or not?

The Broomfield intellipeater is just for the shopping mall to improve reception & transmissions inside the mall.

I have to differ with calling it an "Intellirepeater" since an intellirepeater is called an "intelligent repeater" because it performs the site controlling trunking functions internally without an external site controller. This appears to be just a standalone repeater. It may be a Quantar, but if it is conventional, it is not an Intellirepeater.

Next, i'm not sure that it is even connected to the statewide DTRS, either. In a P25 system, you can have conventional repeaters connected to the system, but what makes us sure that it is connected to the DTRS?

You are probably right about what to call it; I understand it is a bi-directional amp like is used for cellular such as at DIA or in long tunnels.

Somebody obviously thinks its an intellirepeater. About 2 years ago this was hashed out so maybe its' in archives.
