Lately I have been hearing the dispatcher on N-DISP (FIRE) on the state TRS dispatching fire calls in Delaware County and possibly Chester County. One dispatch called for station 63 to respond to XXX-whatever St. in Delaware County. Why is the NCC dispatcher dispatching to a county in PA? I also believe Station 63 was using DE Fire TAC channels.

New Castle 13 is the first due RIT in Aston Township, Lower Chichester Township, and Marcus Hook Borough in PA. The Delco companies are using their own channel, but it's patched in to N-TAC 4 via the SECOM (South Eastern Communications) microwave patch. 13 can use Tac 4 and Delco can use Fire 5 and they can all hear each other without needing to have a separate portable for each county.

Delco will also occasionally patch Gloucester and Chester counties if the need arises.

Also, Boothwyn (40), Lower Chichester (39) and Bethel (66) all have M/A agreements with 13 for the northern part of their local, and the same patch is in service for that too.
