vhf low band 20 or 25 kHz
vhf high band 15 or 20 kHz
uhf 12.5 or 25 Khz
700/800 Mhz 12.5 kHz


Amateur Bands
10 m FM 20 kHz
6m FM 20 kHz
2m FM 15 or 20 kHz (Vaires by area)
1.25m FM 20 kHz
70cm FM 25 kHz (some areas moving to 12.5 kHz)
33cm FM 12.5 kHz

This is my best guess at the public safety steps anyone more sure feel free to correct me.

Hi all,

You're confusing channel spacing with frequency steps in the receiver, that is how many kilohertz the local oscillator advances per step as the receiver scans the band. This is not to be confused with scanning memory slots, the only correlation here is if the correct step isn't entered the receiver will not land exactly on the channel frequency.

Sorry, the bandplan.dat file in the ARC software tells me nothing, perhaps somebody can point him to some published data in usable form.
