I was reading an article on the Michigan Firefighters Union website that state that Sterling Heights Fire and Police will be upgrading thier radio systems to an 800mhz freq. Anyone out there know any info about this?

Will it be thier own system or will they be joining the MPSCS as part of the Macomb County sub-system? If so what is the time frame for the upgrade?
