Sterling/Logan County

Going to spend a weekend in Sterling soon. Are the 3 freqs. in the database correct? The 3 are VHF/ SO/PD/FD. Are they NOT on the DTRS system? How about State Patrol in the area (Logan County)? How about the new prison? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Yes all the county emergency services are VHF.

CSP, CDOT and DOW are DTRS but it's pretty quiet and troopers are dispatched by Denver.

Prison is on DTRS and talk groups include ids 2642-2649.

Thanks Jim. I'm still holding back on a digital scanner until I find out more about my jobs future. At least if a fire truck goes by the family reunion, I can check it out.
