I know we have moved to the Digital Trunk Tracking system, but i believe the Ambulance and another Public service is still on the old UHF or VHF signal. Could i still listen to them if i had the Digital system even though they are not digital? may be a dumb question, but i am new to this, so when i do decide to buy a scanner i want to make sure i will be able to hear everything,,Police, Fire, State, Sheriffs, EMT, etc. Thanks again.

Yes digital scanners than still monitor conventional VHF and UHF frequencies.
