I see some TG's listed in this system as "Private Channel". What exactly does "Private" mean? Does it mean not repeated, encrypted, etc??? Overall, can these TG's be heard like any other on the system? TIA......

In this case, "private" means that only radios from that agency or department have that talkgroup in their radios. In some cases the talkgroup can be encrypted, but many times its not. The whole purpose is to give them some privacy while on the scene on any incident.
