About 1030 local, While out in the field today by Sandy hook bay, I saw 2 fighters going south near the shore from NYC. Too far away too see what type. And no milcomm radios on me.

1110 EDT- Scan 84 (Dash-8 N984HA NGTF)-working on Northrop discrete (123.225). At 1230 advises Speilberg (unid mobile grnd unit) to take a break while they head away for some other card runs.At 1256 Scan 84 asks when the walkers will be deployed.

This should be original test MQ-4C #168457 that came cross Country to Pax River back in Sept 2014.
Assume showing mode s now maybe for cross pond testing? Heard on radio as something -41.

That would have been my guess, a couple of F/A-18 Hornets. I thought I could see the slanted tails.

Yeah they were flying VFR on a nice day at only FL160 enjoying the coastal scenery on way home
for sure..

Thanks.. Bay sector very strong here but into Brooke faded fast.
Those B-2's really have some sharp clear radios with strong punch especially
on VHF and he was at only FL28k.

nothing since.. Maybe parked as standby alert tanker somewhere in the area.
