Ron,
These HF logs you post are great. Just wondering how do you record this information? I've looked at websdr.org and see how it might work, but I don't see how you can keep tabs on all of these SDRs every day and also have notes like you do? Is there a method to this at all? Greatly appreciate your sharing!

I use the SDRs at SDR.hu---they are spread out worldwide. My strategy is to find good ones in a wide geographic dispersion. The other part of my strategy is use these SDRs in an effort " to follow the sun", that is to say try and be listening in an area during the local (there) daylight hours when most of the activity takes place. For example, I'm located in Maryland so for US activity I'll start out early in the morning with the New Hampshire or Florida SDRs to see what's happening around daybreak. Near noon time I'll switch over to the Kansas one then later in the afternoon go to the Idaho or Canada one. The same method is applied with regard to the European, Russian ands Asian SDRs.

I don't record anything---it's all done with hand notes

I was trained by Uncle Sam to do this against the " bad guys" so I guess that old training helped alot when I retired and transitioned in this hobby.

Hope this helps

A few hours ago I could see that one on adsbexchange heading toward the NJ coast. Around that time I could seen CLEAN61 about to land at Bangor.

Yes all the KC-10 tankers landed Bangor and TABOR 21 flight also
came South 1910z but didn't hear them..
Guess the KC-10's were either dry or avoiding stormy wx at McGuire.

Noticed an ANVIS aircraft with mode-s AE5FE8 today. Operated over the AP Hill area most of the morning. A few weeks ago I logged ANVIS21 using 1F2575, thought I had posted it but a search doesn't show it.

Much of the same time unknown AE5F1A was operating out of Bridgewater, staying in the Harrisonburg area at FL160.

Patrick Henry/Newport News self id as K-Fir type.
This should be ATAC F-21 KFIR that ATAC uses mostly for Navy aggressor testing.

Already out and about this morning, circled the vicinity of the US 340 bridge over the Potomac for a while, south end of his route is near Davison AAF

Vibrant Curiosity

Bit off Topic but earlier today mode s logged a Swiss reg Chopper (4B43EE) HB-ZSW EC-135 P2.
Searching around was in Florida last week and New Zealand during the Winter.
Confirmed thru another board that this chopper was on a large private yacht the 2009 Vibrant Curiosity and ship finder had that vessel into Annapolis the other day.
So my luck shipfinder had this vessel starting to NYC tonight for 4th of July festivities and was just before sunset entering the C+D Canal only a few miles from my house so went down to
Northside Chesapeake City Marina and took a few shots earlier this evening.
There is my Chopper mode s logged earlier..LOL Ches City based Pilot boat getting ready to board pilot to transit canal and take to mouth of Delaware Bay
