14:50Z- GOLD 68 checking on with Gander pulling MAZDA 11-15 flight, ATC confirms 5 F-35s. GOLD 69 to hold over YJT (Stephenville), MAZDA eta YJT at 15:27Z, sounds like plan to then switch lead over YHZ (Halifax).

1050 local see GOLD 79 off Bangor headed that way. Doesn't make sense F-35's going to Warner Robins though.
Maybe tankers to Warner Robins and F-35B's to Cherry Point?
Likely these were part of the USMC F-35B UK QE detachment? Fighter control board mentions them returning US from RAF Marham today.
I think there were 10 total F-35B's at RAF Marham so should be two waves of them.

Was surprising those USMC F-35B's left the UK. Originally were supposed to stay TDY at RAF Marham
then deploy again on the QE Carrier.Bringing them home I guess for now but could be some politics
involved with new Admin coming in. Obama Admin was gonna close Mildenhall and move ops to Germany.
Current Potus reversed that and was downsizing Germany based troops instead.. May once again get chillier with RAF and make
nicer again with Germany.. who knows.
1430 local heard MAZDA-21 with ZDC mention non-standard 4 miles in trail.

Sounds like to me a couple of the locals overwrought with baseless worries..
Mentions night flying but has nice daylight photos of the Hueys :)
Had some complaints earlier this year here when Del ANG UH-60's do night training
in and out of local airport. Couple Neighbors posted there worries on local neighborhood board.
I explained who they were and they all calmed down.. Lighten up folks :)
