A mess of 8 C-130J's out of 317AW Dyess working thru area now.
No A/A coms heard yet. All seem to be working to the Northeast at FL270 at 1920-1930z so fairly tight.
Prob headed for St Johns or Bangor. All using various RCH # callsigns on mode s.

Have you guys seen the new ADSBx? tar1090 Jury is still out on it for me but I like that it doesn't time out like the old one did. And you can zoom out to worldwide which is very cool with the military planes esp with the current events. I don't see the option to filter by interesting.

2005 local GOLD 04 KC-135 #57-1469 Arizona ANG 161ARW inbound Dover on appch 132.425
and tower 126.350 runway 19 from the West.
Sounds like a weekend ALTRAV mission coming for these USAF ANG folks.

This morning a little after 4am I heard a turboprop passing over, very odd for the time so I figured it had to be mil. It was Army RO-6A 15-00338 that had been operating around Hagerstown. It's been operating from Manassas.

Interesting to have that floating around.

We Now Know Exactly What Sensors the Army's Powerful New RO-6A Spy Planes Will Carry

Early am local SHUCK 80 E-3G #77-0356 1100z landing Dover with HF radio problems on Dover CP 349.400
Came thru here yesterday 0005z Eastbound towards Maine FL350 but back down this way overnight.
Hard to believe a Com machine like a E-3 would divert due to radio problems. I guess can't cross the Pond without a
working HF radio.

Their were 15 "FT" A-10s and 4 KC135s at Dover most of the week. Probably your TABOR/GOLD birds.

Thanks.. haven't heard that old A/A 140.200 in a long time.. Figured all the A-10's
were UHF only anymore.
Seems the FT guys had some airspares parked there.. KC-135 GOLD 03,04,05 into Lajes around 1640z
GOLD 14,15 KC-135's showing there now at 1745z.

Yeah just turned on computer and see NICE 02 headed down that way.. Was wondering as well
but did notice Notam for New Orleans. LSU Fans will probably own the place..
Speaking of Louisiana notice several Travis/Dover space A flights enroute Barksdale the next few days.
Assume for more Buff deployments soon.
