news article; railgun ops (maybe) down Virginia

***The advisory, published by Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division and republished by Maryland’s The Bay, states, “NSWCDD plans to conduct range testing, Tues. - Fri., Dec. 1-4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. that may produce very loud noise in communities surrounding Naval Support Facility Dahlgren.”***

I'm guessing there will be airspace issues down there next few days

Those Four A-10s are are up here in the DUKE MOA. Working 266.60 A2A and 301.60 as well. Sounds like they are doing simulated ACM with each other. On a conference call, hard to keep track for play by play.

Looks like Duke Moa may be active today and tomorrow. We will see if the weather factors in.

Dave,

Thanks for update. I lost them after Harrisburg.
This is an AXEMAN Flight and just contacted Cleveland Ctr on 353.85 and will be RTB in about 5 Minutes.

By the sounds of it, they are really yanking and banking this last engagement...FOX 2 Away!

OK, they are headed your way mdmonitor

Dave

Thanks for heads up.

If they follow normal procedures you should see more of them during the day.

Do we have VIP travel again finally? TFR for tomorrow (VP or President Elect?) in MEMPHIS, Tennessee. FAA Notices (not TFR yet) for December 04, 2020 in the vicinity of Atlanta, Georgia and Savannah, GA at 2999 ft, and for AF1 on December 05, 2020 in Valdosta, GA at 17,999 FT MSL

TFRs issued (Memphis tomorrow). Wondering if the 2999 ft msl is for Pence or possibly Biden. Be interested to watch that, I'll be at work so hope you all will keep us updated here.
