The guys in the northeast are getting a real treat tonight. Bunch of tankers out and about and the buffs are crossing over Boston and heading east.

Just noticed (2030L) on ADS-B that another B-52 (no call showing #60-0052 AE588E) is messing around off the NC coast probably in W50 & W122.

2027 local SPUR flight says "you guys are early and we are trying to speed up here" on 341.750 AR-20
"Looking for 03-05 after hour IP"... Guess Minot Buffs will have to spin for a while :(
2030 SPUR-81 KC-10 86-0030 off McGuire heading East.

2059 local Seems SPUR-81 headed Bangor or CYQX like SPUR 80 earlier to
catch CAKE's when they rtb the USA prob on the semi-Polar route 100+ miles North of Quebec City.
2101 looks like SPUR 71 flight down to FL260 on the AR-20 track headed for Halifax.

Hey guys, long time no post...

I noticed that tonight there is an RO-6A. Us Army recon aircraft doing laps around South Jersey.

That aircraft is very interesting... it’s a spy plane.

I can’t help but wonder what it’s doing... two thoughts come to mind...
there might be a special forces team out training in the pine barrons tonight that they are watching over.. Ft Dix is out that way.

Another thought is that Tuckerton is a major landing point for trans Atlantic cables... could they be listening to something? They keep flying in straight lines over Tuckerton.
Happy Holidays!

0830- DeeCee 01 (KC-135R # 57-1479 AE0160 756th ARS) doing multiple approaches at ADW (125.65 & 118.4). Maybe the Sqdn Cmdr getting in some flight time? 0855- Now heading off to the northeast.

0858- Brave 01 & 02 (F-16s 121st FS DC ANG) land at ADW. Brave callsign usually denotes intercept training w/Huntress

There has been one up periodically for a few weeks. Usually they are doing perfect circles in the Harrisburg PA area also.

Did anyone hear any comments about this event? I would assume some pilots saw it.

One of the Buffs Cake 11 had an engine failure and is burning fuel for a few hours over England. Now there are 2 more Buffs that left Barksdale. I don't know if they are related.

Interesting flight for a VC-25 today...aborted trip, or a shakedown flight?
View attachment 94903

Both VC-25s will periodically go out as Venus 01 (82-8000) & Venus 02 (92-9000). These flights are for maintenance test, pilot familiarization flts to various area airports that could be potential diverts in case of emergencies or for crew training.
