Airscan, all, the DOOM flight was Langley F-22s who went up to Lightning ATCAA over NY/VT to play with the VT 158th FW F-35s that day. This was confirmed by New England monitors. Huntress frequencies were mostly used along with 158th a2a 314.4 and Langley 1st FW a2a of 257.075

Hope this helps clear up any confusion.
MAINE85 (59-1498) KC-135R (101st ARW ME ANG) was was orbiting within AR-609 and the Lightning 4 ATCAA and the 158th FW F-35s and 1st FW F-22s would come up for fuel when needed, I heard comms between them on 276.5 (AR-609 Primary) and made out the callsigns "CRAZY", "HELLCAT" for the VTANG F-35s. Earlier that morning, PACK92 (I forgot the tail #) KC-46A (157th ARW NH ANG) launched from Burlington Airport/ANGB with (assuming) the VT F-35s. PACK92 worked within the Tupper East, Tupper Central, Tupper West, and Cranberry MOAs before RTB.

Not checked back but likely BOBBY41/79-1712 dragged the Duluth F16s back from Thule on the 25th, CUBE91flt on Coronet North (763)
Rgr they didn't ask for Customs so assumed they made a previous US stop..
Bet they are glad to be back in warm New Jersey :) Balmy Spring day here today. Thule wx -17 degrees F.

1735 local KING 50 HC-130J #14-5864 129RQW Cal ANG (showing KING64) inbound McGuire dropping 7 pax for other destination
and 7 crew need lodging.. req follow me vehicle.. Guess KING 64 tail number suffix mode s default callsign.

1928 local NICE-99 inbound McGuire still have 150k on the fuel alpha 2 for 1 writeup.

Thanks for that. I pulled up the ZBW LiveATC archives (ART08/UCA09) and caught the clearances into and out of the VIPER and LIGHTNING airspace. I notice when ATC clears the VT F-35s to tactical they usually go CH13 or sometimes CH14. Do you know what these frequencies are by any chance ? When the HELLCATs were cleared tactical they called go 277.60, maybe one of those channels ?

On that day I only had the AR freqs on my scanner so that’s all I picked up. I can try 277.6 the next time the airspaces are active to see what I can get. Do you have any other tactical freqs I should try?

VIPER Common 226.300 might be one of the channels (13/14) the VT F-35s refer to ? The MQ-9 Drones out of SYR have been noted using tactical 259.500 and 273.250 in the GRIMM and OSWEGO airspace. I'd be interested in seeing what you can hear up there.

Ok thanks, I will program them and hopefully on Monday, they'll be active and I will let you know. I should be able to hear the MQ-9s in the OSWEGO airspace as I can hear them on ZBW (ART08) out there and I definitely should be able to hear them in the GRIMM airspace.

All in, slight hesitation on 87-0322 as being ex Alabama, if anyone can confirm that tail is now at KACY, would be great.

At 0630L on 260.9 sounds like SAM 1 calling NICE 44 (KC-135T 60-0345) for an areflng freq. Chatter on 259.9 a/a.
Rich
Fighters were SLAM 1,2 asking how long they were expected to cover CAP.
Had SLAM-1 on ZDC 363.000. Maybe SLAM's are Alert fighters out of Langley.
NICE-44 has coordinated Track shift to center over ROBBINSVILLE due to weather.
RBV : ROBBINSVILLE navaid | OpenNav
0839 local 260.900 SLAM 1,2 will rtb Barnes direct or via Deerpark 3 if needed.. Guess CAP called due to wx.
I guess SLAM's were F-15C's 104th FW out of Barnes ANGB in Mass.
Rgr Rich 259.9 is well known Barnes A/A freq along with 259.000 :)

Correction on those Drone freqs. should be 271.100, 259.500, 267.800. More info in this thread - Drone Exercise 271.100 MHz

Also 314.400 for VT F-35s air-air.
