Wx sure doesn't look good again for T-Birds and BethPage airshow today.. Almost like a Noreaster low.
Worse wx is closer to the shoreline.
Glad at least I was able to hear practice show on Friday afternoon.

Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach Canceled Sunday Due to Inclement Weather
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation regretfully announces that the Sunday, May 30 performance of the Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach State Park has been canceled due to inclement weather. The decision is necessary to ensure the safety of the performers and the spectators.

Mark,

Again 373.825 was confirmed as Aux 14. Noble 01 flt & 11 flt were chatting during the handover. Noble 01 told 11 that they used channel 37 during their CAP since they couldn't see anyone on channel 43. Noble 11 told him that he could see everybody on channel 43 & that they would use channel 43. Some sort of situational radar/display?
Yeah 43 is Andrews radar traffic feed and 37 I think is Atlantic City feed for them. Not sure how that works but assume some type
of digital feed for the NOBLE's thru their Satcom?

Rgr Pro106 a shame the T-Birds come all this way for one cloudy practice show..
Be back in this area June 19 for OC Airshow.. Hopefully better wx.
T-Birds around the East a lot later this year including two more NY shows.

July 10-11: Dayton, Ohio – “Dayton Air Show”
July 17-18: Binghamton, New York – “Greater Binghamton Air Show”
August 18: Atlantic City, New Jersey – “Thunder Over The Boardwalk Air Show”
August 21-22: Pocono, Pennsylvania – “The Great Pocono Raceway Air Show”
August 28-29: New Windsor, New York – “New York International Air Show”
September 4-6: Cleveland, Ohio – “Cleveland National Air Show”
September 11-12: Portsmouth, New Hampshire – “Pease Open House”

LINK-16 frequencies

Link 16 operates over-the-air in the L band portion (969 – 1206 MHz) of the UHF spectrum (excluding the 1030/1090 frequencies as these are used for IFF).

Rgr Terry forgot about link-16. I assume that in the area only Andrews and Atlantic City have Link-16?
Dover is real close by and McGuire and Philly airport with good radar coverage.
Maybe they only installed link-16 locally on bases with fighters?

1210 local I think WINK-99 is up with WINK-17 A/A 139.875. Maybe it was with BEEF 09 C-17 heading West.

Some more information - I also read that there are voice channels included.

Link 16 Spectrum. Link 16 systems operate on 51 frequencies within three
sub-bands: 969 - 1008 MHz, 1053 - 1065 MHz, and 1113 - 1206 MHz at 3
MHz intervals using Time Divisional Multiple Access (TDMA). These terminals
are designed to exclude transmissions between 1008 MHz and 1053 MHz and
between 1065 MHz and 1113 MHz. Since in aircraft installations the Link 16
terminal may also provide TACAN (non-TDMA) data, those terminals are
capable of using the entire 962 - 1213 MHz range for TACAN functions, but
restrict Link 16 transmissions to the three sub-bands described above. The
960-1215 MHz band is use by civil and military aeronautical radio navigational
systems. The ATCRBS, Mode S, and IFF systems use 1030 MHz for
interrogations and 1090 MHz for replies. Civil aviation DME and Military
TACAN systems operate on frequencies from 962 MHz to 1213 MHz in 1 MHz
increments. Each DME/TACAN channel uses two frequencies, one for
interrogations from the aircraft for information and one for beacon replies.

Here is a nice Father's Day gift for the interested monitor

I'd bet the men in Black SUV's would be visiting if you attempted to buy one of these.

Yes, Stridsberg MCA208M, connected to a DPD Productions Air Omni UHF/VHF in the attic.
Good stuff but you are a ways off there in location.. I have some of the same and when CAP is over W Maryland
near Camp I only get some of the coms.. UHF has such a short range at times and topography also factors.
I like that BATS-D handheld Terry. LOL Prob cost about $10k+ even if you were allowed to have one.
Heck even the local Fire company handheld Motorola radios 700 MHZ radios go for $5k .. :)
