As a follow up, the WH has released a few more details...
"Shortly after takeoff from Joint Base Andrews en route to Guatemala City, the Air Force Two crew noticed the landing gear was not storing as it should which could lead to further mechanical issues. While there was no immediate safety issue, out of an abundance of caution, they returned to Joint Base Andrews where they have all the parts and mechanics they need to fix the issue. Passengers boarded the back-up C32, which is an Air Force Boeing modified 757."
Blame it on the Trumper's!

Rich,

That must've been neat. I love those old warbirds. Those big engines had a nice, distinct sound to them. My favorite is the F-4U Corsair (my uncle flew one in the Pacific in WWII)

Did anyone happen to catch the aircraft that brought the NATO Sec'y General to DC yesterday or early this morning?

Thought it would be one of the Falcons normally used OO-LUM or OO-FAE, but they are both in Belgium while he began meetings in DC at 10am this morning. Haven't seen any Belgium or unusual aircraft on ADSBx come into DC.

Looks like the tests were done in our area. Can't say for sure, but I think the F-18B in the picture belongs to VX23 at PAX

I had this on my local ADSB setup yesterday -- A16C91 N191H P63 --

I figured it had been at Reading but not sure.

Hi Mark and all,

WOODENs took the Japanese Air Force F-15s from Naha airbase via Chitose airbase to Eielson AFB.
They are indeed taking part in Red Flag Alaska 21-2. Including a short soundclip:

The Korean based F-16s arrived last week as JEST 31, 41 and 51 flight via Honolulu:

Also taking part are 12 25FS A-10s from Osan AFB:
