Was Langley RAPTOR team checking tape... Maybe they needed some work besides F-22 solo airshows?
0904 local RAPTOR 1 flight of two with ZDC 363.000 Northbound says looking for FL 390 Waterloo then LaGuardia.
1114 local RAPTOR 1 flight returning Langley dropping down from FL 390. Didn't stay up there very long.

Sounds like they landed for a quick pit stop in KGTB as well, then some work with the VT F-35s. They joined up with someone using the callsign PANTHER 1 and 2 ? Like I mentioned earlier I did not hear anyone using the PANTHER callsign with ATC. It sounded like an F-35 so wondering if maybe it was a VT ANG flight using a discrete tactical callsign for that part of the exersice only ?

Audio - RAPTOR 1 working Viper

I put audio of the CAP intercept ( or attempted intercept ) here:
It was a little noisy for a few when they went below 1000 feet.
Started at 13:58 on the recording clock
interestingly they went back to Langley. Heard on LFI tower at about 1530E. I guess they are TDY there for the entirety of their Noble Eagle tour, not just when there is a TFR to enforce?
