0946 - SNAKEs from Indiana ANG shown as “HOG 01” spotted in central VT, near the entrance of VR-1801. These 2 A-10s stayed the weekend at KBAF. Judging by the scheduled times of the Fort Drum restricted areas, looks like they will hit up the range.View attachment 109756

CAP has been really quiet when I've been listening. I've seen tankers a few times. Just got back from the Leesburg airshow. While there saw the current tanker which is not showing on tracking. Also saw a C-5 heading west.

One of these is a flight of two T-6s. Three left together. T-6s

UH-60 0-24526 PAT19 was there. Three soldiers jumped with parachutes from 6k feet. The only close tail # per Scramble is 86-24526 ND ArNG. Unit fits since they're TDY here, but the DB must be wrong about the number or there is also a 00-24526.. No mode-S on this one.

Airboss was 135.85
Airboss ground 118.7
Discrete 123.15 Used by performers to speak to crowd.

UK Scuttlebutt is that Dyess AFB will deploy some B-1B's to RAF Fairford soon.
Yesterday McGuire C-17 #07-7171 RCH-879 went Dyess then UK this morning.. Will take a few tankers to get them across.. Stay tuned.
AR-80NE is booked tonight 0100z-0230z. Not sure if related. Red Eye B-1's? :)

Strangely I used the same word when talking to a friend this morning. However, fact is that C5, REACH922 went into FFD early doors.

REACH879, the C17, landed Prestwick a short while ago but is rumoured to be hopping down to FFD tomorrow.

Back to the head and B1 engines were mentioned as being unloaded

Just curious about the 135.85 air boss freq; Dave Schultz was using 135.65 in 2019 as the primary air boss VHF freq.
