Terry,

Ist ring is 100 miles, 2nd ring 150 & 3rd ring 200 miles.

Ron

Thanks - just like to keep an eye on my coverage range so that I know when coax or something else is falling short on the coverage.

Added the stats from my FlightAware feed - still working on increasing the number of position reports from 250+ miles. Might need to raise the antenna on a tower.

Is that an SBS unit?

I installed LMR600 for my ADSB work. It helped with the lengthy cable run I have here.

Yes - SBS-3 at Villas NJ site and SBS-1 at PA site. I use LMR400 from DPD ADS-B antennas at each site.

The Villas NJ ADS-B antenna is currently in the attic since I was testing an AIS antenna on its tripod mount. Will probably swap them back out when I get a chance on the roof.

FlightAware and FlightRadar24 are feed from the Villas site as well. FlightAware off the same antenna as the SBS-3 and FlightRadar from a 1090 MHz antenna in the radio room. Was feeding ADS-B exchange for a bit with the same Raspberry Pi4 as the FlightRadar 24 feed but I goofed something up in the software and lost the ADS-B exchange portion. One of these days I will get another Pi4 setup for ADS-B but not high on my list at the moment.

1345- Looks like Gunny & Wild flts (F-16s 121st FS DC ANG) headed down to the Dare NC ranges. They were working ZDC Patuxent then ZDC Blackstone before they faded out for me.

1420- Puma-93 (C-130J # 06-4634) calling Brickyard CP (McGuire)

Nice! I have the same DPD antenna, up at about 95ft. I'd love to find an SBS3 one of these days. I've had the SBS1 since 2007, and it is solid.

Off topic again but one of my new favorite live web cams is Lake Hood Sea plane base next door
to Anchorage airport.. Earlier today when it was slow he turned cam to PANC ramp and zoomed on tail of HH Hawaii C-17 parked there.
The first two seaplanes just got out late today for the season after most of the ice has thawed in the lagoon.
Live Cam just started up in March and is very popular already.
