1020- JM64 (callsign "Juliette Mike 64") checking on with ZBW08/09 at FL240. This is a B350 N64TR that ADSBx says is operated by the US Special Operations Command. Possibly unrelated but around the same time heard one of the BTV F-35s that was in Viper talking to an unid (couldn't hear them) aircraft on 226.300 (Viper Common) talking about the status of the airspace. N64TR image.

Capital Guardians just rocked up in Spain,
Andrews has some oldie F-16's.. Shaw F-16's the other day were all 1991 vintage but understand
the Andrews F-16's have gotten some electronic upgrades. They are all getting tired.
I remember recently in the CAP's some of the Texas F-16 guys were complaining how old and beat their F-16's were.

Interesting short news story out of DVIDS about how Tropical Storm Elsa gave McConnell extra guests on Independence Day, when MacDill Air Force Base evacuated KC-135s here.

Marine One landed at 2:45 pm central time at the Chicago airport and POTUS quickly boarded AF1 for the flight back to DC. AF1 is running almost an hour ahead of schedule.

09-0017 in the lead followed by 82-8000 over Indiana.

Some interesting hot wx ducting going on this AM. I'm picking up the UHF (322.55) side of ZDC Linden loud & clear enough to read. Linden is about 50-60 miles to my west. First time that's ever happened.

Interesting. Can you hear the VHF side as well on 133.550 or the LDN VOR on 114.300 ? I wonder if it could be a case of ZDC using their backup transmitter ? According to the SOP the backup site is located at "Plains Radar" but it doesn't specify where that is ?
