0945- Those 2 TALON helicopters from Lakehurst yesterday are on the move again in central Indiana. Heading west. Showing TALON 50 & 78. Same serial numbers.

1115- Smart 2 (F-22 94th FS) working Giantkiller (238.1) that he is at FL440 & is RTB Langley. FL440 is high for usual Langley F-22s.
1120- Peach 92 (E-8 # 94-0268 GA ANG 116th ACW, Robins AFB GA) working AR218 (274.45) coordinating AR rendezvous w/Bison 31 (KC-135R # 58-0038 328th ARS Niagara Air Reserve Station NY). Needs 15K onload then a couple of AR hookup check rides.
1130- Nighthawk 11 (unid, HMX-1) inbound to ADW.
1135- Heard unid acft w/comms check on 225.725. I have that freq as a B-52 (20th BW) discrete.

1440- Rare event. Yeti 1 flt (F-22s 27th/94th FS) working w/Bay Watch (256.5/305.2) for joint training in R6609 w/Axeman flt (A-10Cs 104th FS MD ANG). Axeman working discrete (293.3)

Might be some issue with the ADW UHF tower freq (349.0). Earliet today heard a returning DC ANG flt say " yea. but the VHF is working." Later, this afternoon another returning flt was using the VHF tower freq (118.4).
Probably having hard time finding tubes for maybe Drake era boat anchor radios

Yes I watched his sign off for the 11PM newscast that will be handled by Rick Williams going forward. Jim Gardner will still handle the 6PM newscast for one more year. Many great news broadcasters over the years and he is definitely one of them. 70's weren't too bad - now where did I put my disco ball !!

Makes sense since the aircraft departed Love Field Dallas.
Notice: Expect VIP movement January 14-16, 2022 in the vicinity of Wilmington, Delaware.
Aircraft is airborne now out of PAX River....a bit too far away from me for any photography unless they descend.
