There is a (AE1AFB) off Pax River FL350 circling offshore OC Maryland area.
Comes back as EA-18G #166641 from VX-23 went as fast as 724 knots on EB leg.
Rare when this bird is tracking. Showed briefly as S521 so assume Salty Dog 521.

Must be Carrier off Norfolk/Outer Banks as Grayhawks are popping up out of the water out there
and back to shore. G Ford practice?

1515- Tift 67 (E-6B # 164387 VQ-4 Det) off PAX heading south. At 1615 looks to be inbound to PAX, Went down as far as Rocky Mount NC then turned & headed back in direction of PAX,. Maybe some sort of acft issue?

1545- Colt flt (A-10Cs 104th FS MD ANG) working discrete (266.6) & ACY approach (327.125)

1600- Salty Dog 521 working Giantkiller (249.8) clearing out of Test Track & Bay Watch (354.8) RTB PAX.

Did E-6 TIFT 67 possibly lose cabin pressure? Normal squawk but apparently returning to Pax River at 8000 feet.

Wouldn't think is was cabin pressure, because after he turned back he climbed from FL150 to FL240 and kept that altitude until he was over Northern VA then descended into PAX area. He's been running around the PAX area at 6,000 ft so maybe he's trying to burn off fuel before landing?

In the screenshot I posted earlier TIFT 67 is about 100 miles from Pax River but has already descended to 8000 feet. Normally you wouldn't want to be down at 8000 feet until you're about 25 miles from the field. The descent out of FL240 started over North Carolina, not northern Virgina, and coincided with the turn back to Pax.

It does look like the E-6 is holding to burn fuel to get down to landing weight.

09-0016 SAM 46 holds over the Iowa City VORTAC at 2230Z waiting for AF1 to start up and taxi in Des Moines.

UH-60 13-20643 performs the HUNTSMAN mission at DSM airport for the AF1 departure.

I believe the third plane, 09-0017, is quietly sitting on the ground in Topeka, Kansas.

Here is C-32A 09-0017 departing Andrews for Forbes Field, Topeka, Kansas using the callsign TOKEN 85 at about 1525Z/11:25 am earlier today.

On the return, the plane formerly known as SAM 18 usually arrives back at ADW a short time after AF1.

Edited LiveATC audio from Potomac Approach 118.675 and Washington Center 118.025 is attached.

HAGAR-71 C-5M doing locals at Dover on 125.900 VFR Dover apch freq which is paired with 282.325.
Guess they only use in nice clear wx like tonight.Kind of rare.

Earlier a couple of Del ANG UH-60's were up A/A 242.400.. Seems all the area UH-60's use that 240 range.
Maryland is A/A on 246.800 as well.

Copied from Facebook. I was not there, these are not my pictures-
Adams Box 1-3-30, in the 100/blk of Redding Lane in Cumberland Twp for a Technical Rescue. Information obtained from the Gettysburg Fire Facebook page; crews from Gettysburg were on standby at a farm on Redding Lane for a drop zone while the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division practiced several air jumps.

Due to weather conditions, namely the wind, several paratroopers were blown off path and became stuck in various trees. A couple of the paratroopers were able to free themselves from the trees. The remaining trooper was safely brought down with the assistance of a Helicopter from the Haverfield Corporation.
