This morning I got my BCD436HP back from getting repaired by Uniden. It was in need of a keypad, but I also believe I may have fried some stuff while it was connected to the same antenna as a transceiver and got an unintentional dose of ~50wt. It had gone quite deaf.
It's working great now and I'm currently hearing a USCG helo reporting 5mi SW of HGR heading back to Atlantic City. 126.825
Must've been the low and slow CAP coverage for the weekend.

71 and 72 were in Grand Rapids, Minneapolis and Indianapolis this weekend, talking air to air on 238.825.
They are going to orbit the Falls and do a little sightseeing before landing.

Thanks for new 71st callsign. I heard him several times and couldn't get it clearly.
AF2 98-0001 headed to California through a rain around the DC area
Rgr checking tape after work here and is clearly SWAMP-71 who was trying to avoid icing in DC/Balt area
so went direct Smyrna then to Langley later cleared down to FL 10k.
