Question for you guys, I've seen the BOXER callsign used several times with congressional delegation aboard (in particular Pelosi) but is it used for other flights as well?

From mdmonitor's list, BOXER is the callsign of DC Air National Guard 201st Airlift Squadron.

See: 201st Airlift Squadron - Wikipedia

BOXER 43 is on the way to somewhere in the upper Midwest right now while Nancy Pelosi's sometime chariot 01-0040 is going to Long Beach as SAM 015.

Guys

For those of you with HF capability. Couple of new freqs to watch for. These were posted on another list

11059.0 ROBINS ONE wkg ANDREWS for short phone patch to area code 478 USB voice. ROBINS ONE signed off as "Roger. This is the Old Man, out." Possible 78th Air Wing commander?

11053.0 OTIS81: USMC KC-130J wkg ANDREWS with phone patch to MCAS Cherry Point USB voice requesting weather for airfields in Portugal.

Interesting frequency spacing - I guess the sun's new solar cycle is really helping out.

Just heard on 135.7 (ZBW MPV52/PLB53) BOAR21 Flight of 4 A-10s (Assuming from Maryland ANG) cleared into YANKEE 1 MOA. ATC confirms that there is a tanker plus 3 other A-10s in the MOA already.

12:03 PM BOAR31 Flight cleared to operate in Yankee 1 MOA

BOAR A-10 Selfridge ANGB, MI
BOAR A-10s 122nd FW/163rd FS IN ANG Ft Wayne IN

Apologies, made that guess since they’re usually up this ways in the early summer.

1600- Assume NJ DEVILs are working at the Warren Grove Range. A few of their TAC channels are busy, 298.6 & 294.725 plus the range primary 283.1, nothing showing on ADSB.
Also earlier at 1314, had a fighter(s) go over my work going south. Looks like he did the Hudson River run, showed briefly on TIS-B then stopped tracking, if anyone has anything on their recordings in that time frame.

Listening to the LiveATC archives it sounds to me like the callsign was SPORT. There was 11 (x3), 21 (x5), 31 (x4). After the AR with STEEL 75 the 11 and 21 flights were cleared to Gander/CYQX. 31-32 split off continuing to CYQX while 33-34 went to Bangor/KBGR with some sort of issue. SPORT being the MD ANG travelling callsign. Maybe they had left previously to this morning ?

LiveATC Audio - SPORT (?) 33 landing KBGR

LiveATC Audio - SPORT (?) 21 checking on with Moncton

Incidentally checking the KFWA archives there were some mil flights out of there this morning, callsigns JOKER, HUNTER and NAIL. I assume these are A-10s as they all RTB back to KFWA. All 3 are new ones for Ron's callsign list.

No apologies needed as you can see I have years of posts assuming wrong :)
Even today I did not catch any SPORT departures on usual UHF so maybe they went VHF. course
waypoint LRP is due North and I usually catch them coming East here.Even LRP (Lancaster) I should have copied here.
I scan limited UHF on tape as otherwise would be loaded with hours of recordings after work

That is their favorite travelling callsign.Wish I was home to maybe snag them.
Seems the regular Army Maryland NG also deploying to Eastern Europe for a May 16 Exercise.
MD National Guard To Deploy To Europe In May (yahoo.com)
Estonia is Maryland long time Brother State and the A-10's have been there before including clipping a road sign
a couple of deployments back..

Thanks for the heads up on the A-10s, otherwise I would have missed them.

Speaking of missing stuff. Saw this on Twitter, some sort of excercise over Kansas this morning.
10 KC-135s, callsigns GRIMM 51-56 and GRIMM 61-64, with B-2s, callsign DEATH 11-??.
The 10 KC-135s all landed at McConnell/KIAB around 0600Z-0645Z.
