From the Politico:

McConnell leads delegation of Republican senators to Kyiv

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the visit a powerful signal of bipartisan support for Ukraine, as well as the American people.

Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Saturday led a delegation of Republican senators to war-ravaged Ukraine.

Video showed Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine), John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) and John Cornyn (R-Texas) walking with McConnell in the Ukrainian capital alongside President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Guys

I have a Alinco wideband receiver that I no longer use. Would like to sell it to someone who would make good use of it. Makes good travelling/mobile radio due to it's wide frequency coverage.

The Alinco DJ-X10T is a very compact wideband receiver covering 0.1-2000 MHz (less cellular). AM, NFM, WFM, LSB, USB & CW, 1200 Memory channels

This radio is in very good condition & comes with: case, BNC telescoping antenna and AA cell holder. Uses 4 AA batteries. No AC wall adapter.

No original manual, but it is available from several online sources.

Asking $100 (I pay shipping)

If interested contact me mdmonitor1@verizon.net

From White House VOA Spokesman Steve Herman:

Just in:
@VP “will travel to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on May 16 to lead a Presidential Delegation and offer condolences on behalf of the Biden-Harris Administration and the American people on the passing of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.”

Couple McGuire KC-10's to Elmendorf.
Yesterday was FIAT-41 #85-0028 and today FIAT-40 #85-0027 headed that way.
Hmm Italy is the other way! LOL Yesterday Red Flag Alaska ended so maybe for someone to go home.
KC-135s FIAT 43 and FIAT 44 flew a local mission this afternoon.

The 36FS F-16s should be departing from Eielson AFB to Japan tomorrow and then returning to South Korea,
and the 18FW F-15s may be going to Nellis AFB for three weeks, before returning to Kadena AFB, Japan aswell.

The scheduled short CAP this morning features SLAM 1,2 and ZOMBIE-14 #58-0066.
ZOMBIE-14 already making plans for recovery at MacDill.

RCH-4162 C-17 Dover to Andrews. Will be a lot of C-17's to Andrews and Hickam the next couple days in
prep for Asia trip later next week.

0825 local see BLUE-43 about halfway from Lajes to the New Jersey shore.Southern track for sure.
Guessing about two maybe 2.5 hours out with the above posted Shaw F-16's.
