That odd looking Delta V rocket that went up today. One of 15 Delta V variants it had one small solid booster
strapped to it but Atlas has vectored thrust in main engine so can compensate.
Better keep those launches going as China plans 40 Sat rocket launches this year.

Yea, the NTPS T-38s do this all the time. It's part of the curriculum to do some speed tests. They usually do them over the Eastern Sh ore at FL380 at speed around Mach 1.0-1.1. Just enough to get the Mach experience but not enough to rattle everyone.

Whoever the violator was, I don't hear them with FDK tower after reviewing the LiveATC recordings. Never heard anything from HUNTRESS or the fighters either. Maybe a govt aircraft.

On 260.9 at 17:20 local -- All players, Huntress , skip it, skip it , new mission RTB , have a safe flight home
Delta 5501 N272PQ from Washington DC, no damage to aircraft or passengers all are back in the terminal now.
The CRJ-900 off the runway at RDU is Endevour 5501, a code share with Delta. As the RJ drivers say 'It's Delta, Delta, Delta - until something goes wrong'
They were landing off the ILS approach to runway 5L.
Here's the METAR around the 0152Z landing time:

Doesn't look too bad, quite possibly runway condition was part of the problem.

Looks like the 177th FW A/C guys will be TDY at Muniz ANGB in PR maybe this weekend .(ACE Deployment)

I was monitoring 163.3 N293, female op talking to possibly "Uniform" or she was saying Uniform relay; saying playtime 1300 - 1400. She also mentioned a "Warrior 66" and mentioned tracking "Xray 2" 91 from 320. She says "Warrior 66" has previous "Xray 2 unsighted. She tells "Uniform" that she is at 11.5 and needs to be at 13.5 for arrival. She is at intersection 30 & 320 and going to alt 15k. I missed quite a few tx on the recordings for 163.3 as the DEA a/c was on 418.9 N156 doing surv; and the FBI was on 172.1 N167 on surv. Wondering if this was tied into the activity with the USCG?
