01-0041 returned to ADW today after several months in Atlanta followed by some test flights as VENUS31 and two weeks in Ardmore OK, home of USAF acft paint contractor King Aerospace.

At 12:26 pm EDT SAM 959 01-0014 tried to hail C-5M REACH 228 86-0200 on 314.9 with no joy as they passed each other over Kentucky.

'REACH 228 are you up on button 10?'

REACH 228 is on the way to Fort Bliss, Texas. I'm told that Fort Bliss is somewhat of a misnomer ;) .

Jared

I heard that "channel 14" ref and thought it might have something to do w/DOV since that's fairly close to my location. I couldn't pin it down to anyone.
I assume it’s for the Scott-based C-21s.

Should that be 319.400?

You are right as usual Jared, thanks. (y)

I have that listed as an Air Mobility Command command post frequency. I presume one of the C-40 pilots recognized a familiar voice on the C-5.
