For today's trip to England, looks like 82-8000 is AF1 by default, 09-0016 is SAM 46 and I'm guessing that 09-0018 will be the third plane with a spoofed callsign and hex ID.
Sorry if this has been posted already but 09-0018 flew to RAF Fairford as RCH041 w/o transponding to support POTUS' trip. Also no messages recently on ACARS.

Looks like my hunch was right. They probably flew 09-0015 as SAM 078 just to throw us off the scent. ;)

Nice list Dom.. I always had 234.800 as Vermont ANG A/A but today heard a couple of DC WILD's
on this freq talking A/A about their alpha status codes etc.
This a fairly new freq for them?
Mark

As far as I know, 234.8 has always been the 121st FS SOF (callsign Senate) freq It's VHF pair is 139.45 AM. The 121st FS CP/Maintenance callsign is Watergate, Also heard on 139.45/234.8

Did you guys catch a fighter escort for AF1 and GRIMM coming back from the UK? Some people said they saw fighters around Andrews and TIS hits on the trackers as AF1 approached ADW.
Andrew,

I was listening at that time and heard a coupe of DC ANG F-16s (Wild flt) in the pattern just before Grimm, 09-0015 & AF1 returned They had been at the PAX range so it could have been them coming back and it looked like an escort mission.

AF1 normally generates a phantom TIS-B target which appears to fly formation with it while in the DC area. Also, several of the jet fighter airshow acts from the weekend, including the Thunderbirds, left Andrews today.

A former colleague who flew right seat on the VC-25A during the 1990s said that often foreign governments, particularly in the Middle East, want to provide a wingtip fighter escort for AF1 on arrival as a sign of respect but the 89th does everything they can to discourage the practice (what could possibly go wrong?).

Here's a couple of examples of the phony AF1 TIS-B wingman from earlier this year.
