C-32A 09-0016 VENUS 7 drops into Martinsburg, West Virginia airport for a landing around 11 am. They land on runway 26, tell the tower that they plan to turn around at the end and take off on runway 8. The tower has a Cessna in the pattern so he says, no, taxi back for a takeoff on 26.

While taxiing back to 26 ground gives VENUS 7 the clearance back to Andrews. The VENUS pilot does a snappy readback like a tobacco auctioneer and manages to mess it up. On departure VENUS 7 misses a heading, Potomac helps them out by providing a direct to a waypoint followed by a revised route clearance. Wisely, V7 doesn't try a readback of the route this time. :)

In the meantime NIGHTHAWK 7, flight of three, reports inbound to MRB. After landing, the NIGHTHAWKs take off again. Is there a Presidential visit coming?

C-17 DECOY 99 is waiting to takeoff for air refueling, perhaps with KC-135 EDDIE 62.

Nighthawk 7 (flight of 3, 1x VH-92 1x VH-60 and 1x VH-3) and VENUS7 were working together. They “rendezvoused” before the both departed. Nighthawk 7 flight flew back to JBAB and VENUS7 flew around before RTB at ADW.

Might explain the additional, and international flights into Dover yesterday.

Airmen from the 436th Aerial Port Squadron loaded palletized ammunition, weapons and other equipment bound for Ukraine during a foreign military sales mission at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, Jan. 24, 2022

I was curious when I saw the VENUS 7 callsign. Normally 09-0017 will use VENUS 97 for touch and goes and approaches.

I've seen VENUS 7 used before for apparent Continuity of Government exercises like airborne and ramp rendezvouses with SILVER DOLLAR, one of the E-4Bs. In this exercise on April 8, 2021 the planes conversed in the clear on 142.75 MHz AM.
