Currently have MASH 83 (KC-135R, 60-0314) setting up for AR with GREYHAWK 64 (E-2D, [AE1B08]) in Buckeye MOA. Will be conducting the AR at 11,000.

Vid of Potus to PR yesterday.. A little different down there. Runway at Mercedita is only 8k long so prob
why they used the smaller jets. The 747 used San Juan 4 years ago.Army Blackhawk checking things out too.
Note standby Marine 1 chopper in hangar that departs after AF-1 departure and USSS chasing down the runway though saw
them do this at LAX a while back.

Seems like 8k is the magic number won’t use the VC-25 at ILG so makes sense.
The VC-25 has certainly operated to ILG in years past.

I know they have unfortunately I have never seen it. Was told that there was a policy change and they need 8000 feet plus to bring in the VC-25. In the picture it’s landing on a runway that’s just a little over 7000’ so I don’t know what has changed certainly not the aircraft.
Potus I caught back in 2007 inbound KILG over the BK parking lot at approach to runway 1.
