I found a new for me P25 system with a CC on 387.9500 with voice channels on 387.5875, 387.8000, 387.6500, 388.1250, 388.2500, 388.4000, 388.5500, 388.7000, 388.8500, 389.0500, & 389.1500. Network is C51B0.01A Site 6.6 neighbours 5.5 7.7 & 8.8 Looking to put a name to this system if...

Thanks, first time I’ve heard that one (did see it on your list). Checking the LiveATC archives RAVAGE 31 was ID’d as F-16s, also with BULLY 11 and GUNNY 21. Was a busy morning, the DC ANG F-16s were in Viper West the same time BTV ANG F-35s, WEASEL 21, VENOM 31 (rare), STROKE 41 were working in Viper East. Sounds like the F-16s popped into Wheeler-Sack for gas between sorties, then cleared RTB ADW via CFB-LRP-BWI-OTT direct.
President Biden is scheduled to travel to Phnom Penh, Cambodia and Bali, Indonesia from November 10-16.

1420- Anyone hear about something happening off NJ coast? ADS-B is showing CG 6605, King 73 (HC-130J # 16-5873) & Jolly 12 (HH-60 # 05-27039) all operating at low levels off the NJ coast from ACY to Long Island. They are too low and too far away for me to pick up anything. Jolly 12 & King 73 are out of Gabreski Field on Long Island.

Haven't heard anything (at the office) - but I did see a CG helo on ADS-B this morning, off the coast of LI about 10 miles SSE of Gabreski Field, doing a low "pinwheel" (best way I can describe it) pattern over a point. Checking marine/ship tracking websites this morning, there were some vessels in the surrounding 20 or so miles (a German flagged contain ship, and a pusher tug/fuel barge IIRC), but nothing at that point specifically, there is now an "SAR/Military Satelite Position" showing at that location. KING 73 is now operating in an area just to the west of what I viewed this morning.

1644- Couple of MD ANG A-10Cs working CAS training on discrete (293.3). Chat indicates they are in one of the PAX areas.
11am - Coast Guard rescue helo 6023 on scene searching for a missing boater in approx. position 40.34 72.41 off the south shore of Long island. Comms on Marine Ch. 16 (156.800), Ch.22 (157.100) and LMR CG112 (163.050). 1 boater recovered, 1 missing. The tuna fishing boat collided with an oil tanker during the night and sank in 15 minutes. Both boaters had time to don their life vests, so lets hope he is found safe.
UPDATE... As of 14:30, the search continues, with additional helos, fixed wing aircraft CG2303, a C-130, King73 from Suffolk County ANG, and CG Cutter Sanibal joining the search. Some comms also on CG409 (412.975)

Back in early 2008, the Coast Guard began using new narrow-band radios, capable of APCO P-25 digital mode as well as analog. When the new radios went on line, so did some new frequencies.
For many years, Coast Guard listeners were familiar with the "LANT" VHF FM land-mobile channels that some Coast Guard operations used. With the move to narrow-band radios some of these frequencies changed, and they are now referred to by "NET" numbers. Note that the NET numbers will have 100 added to them for APCO P-25 digital, so NET 1 would become NET 101 if they are digital.

The Coast Guard P-25 channels tend to us a NAC of N293. Encryption is used, some areas use it consistently, others not so much.
Officially the US Coast Guard moved it's UHF aircraft operation frequencies at the beginning of 2006. This was done to move their frequencies out of the 380-400 MHz DoD Land Mobile band.
Here are the new USCG air frequencies:
237.9 MHz - Operations (secondary)
326.15 MHz - Air-to-Ground (primary)
345.0 MHz - Operations (primary)
379.05 MHz - Air-to-Ground (secondary)
However, don't take out the old Coast Guard UHF frequencies! It appears that some units are still using them for air-to-air tactical and training ops:

381.8 MHz
383.9 MHz
If you happen to be near a Coast Guard dock or near where Coast Guard cutters operate, be sure and keep your scanners near field searching capabilities going. The CG cutters have a history of using anything and everything for on-board radios. Some use UHF business channels, some use FRS radios and some use oddball, non-standard channels for hand held radios on the boat. Here are a few that were found in a Coast Guard radio-programming template. There was nothing specified for CTCSS or DCS squelch tones. The frequencies listed are rather a strange mix:
