Chat indicates they will be tight on fuel to arrive at Beaufort. #3 advises ZDC Leesburg (285.45) they they don't have enough fuel to make it to Navy New Orleans, so want routing to MCAS Beaufort. Also working ZDC Snow Hill (353.95). Routing is TYI then direct to KNBC. Chat on 264.85 indicates they are considering Seymour-Johnson & Warner Robbins as alternates.

The helo off of Boeing was a V22 - normally identified as OSPREY33 lately. Flew low enough that only my PA site caught it - not my Villas site. Of course the PA site is only 6 miles from KPHL and Boeing is even closer to the site.

I was wondering what was going on. I get them in the clear once and awhile on 226.300, but nothing so far on their regular TAC frequencies. Except the secure stuff on 314.400. First time I've heard them using that in Viper.

Thursday Jan 6, FLOTUS heads to Nashville International Airport for tour of the Creekwood neighborhood in Bowling Green KY where they suffered tornado damage. Arrival scheduled for 9:15am CT, tour scheduled start time at 10:45 CT.

FLOTUS trip canceled citing bad weather forecast for the area tomorrow.

1818 - BRASS 21 (x4) RTB to BTV at 15,000 feet.
1820 - Passing around ATIS on 226.800.
1824 - HAMMER 31 (x4) RTB in a few minutes, after that Viper/Lightning are cold.
1827 - HAMMER 31 (x4) RTB to BTV at 17,000 feet.
1828 - Viper/Lighting cold

Sounds like the weekly Falcon Virgo exercise with Civil Air Patrol acft & DC ANG F-16s.

Did some Googling and according to DOD reports the MA ANG F-15s and the Navy New Orleans & Fresno F-15s are on the list to be replaced with either the new F-15EX or the F-35.

So maybe the Hawk flt down to New Orleans yesterday was related to that.
