Thanks for posting that ! Nice reception of Giant Killer. Would make a great LiveATC feed (hint). I agree that it sounds better without any scan delay set.

Agree on the "no delay". Audio from Giant Killer sounds like the audio quality that can be heard here when you are near the USCG training center in Cape May. Unfortunately, except for the VHF side 135.725 - my current NJ site is a bit too far away for a quality feed.

07:47 local BELO-21 push ZDC Millville 125.450.. and lost them after that.

Here's what I could find on LiveATC. Starts with 125.450 and ends with them going back to UHF with the ZNY high sectors. Callsign kinda sounds like VELO or VEELO ? They split from 22 prior to descent. Not sure where 22 ended up going ? Maybe just a spare ?

Even just having a 135.725 feed would be very useful with good GK reception. There is a LiveATC GK feed at Atlantic City but the reception there seems to be very poor. Can your hear any aircraft out in W107 from your NJ location ?

Yeah sure sounds like VELO to me.That callsign makes more sense too.
Never heard a Buff use so many VHF freqs.
They almost always req UHF when possible.
Thanks for audio 🙂

Yeah sounds like VELO, but why does VELO make more sense than BELO as a BUFF callsign ?
Have heard that callsign before but I think was on one of those E-11 types. Short for Velocity I thought.
I think Virgin Australia also uses callsign VELOCITY but not sure..

Airscan earlier here posted audio clip inbound and departing NYC area and all the VHF freqs are mentioned on the air.

Sorry for the late reply- yes I can hear civilian aircraft at cruise from North Carolina to Massachusetts. I can hear fighters contacting Norfolk on 370.925 and aircraft working in upper W 72 area all the way to above Long Island. Basically that is using a VHF DPD antenna for 150-174 Mhz.

I am still configuring my antennas and my radio room - been dealing with health issues over the past couple of years and then add isolation due the pandemic - so am a bit behind the curve. Will add a feed for 135.725 to the list of projects to accomplish for this year. I will look at LiveATC and see what needs to be accomplished to feed the frequencies.
